Scalp & Skin Dermaroller

Dermarolling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a form of microneedling that involves rolling a wheel that has 100's of sharp needles over the scalp & skin. We have carefully selected our dermaroller to be made with the finest surgical stainless steel. Our roller contains 192, 1.0 MM size needles that will provide you with the best results when used to treat hair loss, acne, hyperpigmentation, stretch marks, rejuvenate the skin, & reduce signs of aging. Please note, our dermaroller must be used with our infused Ayurvedic Hair & Scalp treatment Oil or if using it for your skin, our Glow-Up Treatment Oil should be applied. If using to treat on the body (stretch marks) follow up with Safiyah’s whipped body butter.

INSTRUCTIONS 

How To Use The Dermaroller On Your Scalp:

1. Disinfect the roller needles before each use by soaking/spraying in 70% isopropyl alcohol & then rinse off with warm water
2. Section out clean, dry hair. If hair is prone to tangling, brush it out prior to using the dermaroller
3. Roll over sections 10-15 times vertically & horizontally using light pressure.
4. Pressure should not be painful but rather cause a light tingling/prickling sensation
5. Focus on areas of concern (can also be used on beards)
6. After using the dermaroller, apply Safiyah’s Ayurvedic Hair & Scalp Treatment Oil to the scalp, gently massaging the oil into the scalp. Leave the oil in for a few hours or overnight.
7. After usage, soak the roller in alcohol & allow it to completely dry prior to storage
8. Use the scalp roller 1x per week for best results

Side effects include: A dry, itchy red scalp, which is a completely normal part of the healing process. Minor skin irritations should subside 24-72 hours later.

How To Use The Micro Needles On Your Skin:

1. Disinfect the roller needles before each use by soaking/spraying in 70% isopropyl alcohol & then rinse off with warm water
2. Ensure the skin you will be using the roller on is washed & clean.
3. Applying light pressure, roll 10-15 times per area, vertically & horizontally. LIFT the roller each time you are rolling a different area/direction. Do NOT drag the roller across the skin. 
4. Apply Safiyah’s Glow-Up Treatment Oil to skin immediately after rolling (an oil must be applied)
5. After usage, soak the roller in alcohol & allow it to completely dry prior to storage
6. Best to be performed at night so that the skin can repair & rest.
7. Use 1x every 2 weeks, depending upon skin’s tolerance.

Side effects include: Dry, itch, swollen red skin, which is a completely normal part of the healing process. Minor skin irritations should subside 24-72 hours later. Protect your skin during the day with SPF after micro needling.
